In many cases, the stone starts to lean after just a few years, and fails to meet the requirements for the load it is meant to withstand.
Apart from a leaning headstone, it becomes an occupational health and safety risk for cemetery staff and a potential danger to visitors to the cemetery. According to the guidelines of the Central Grave Care Committee (CGK), a headstone must withstand a load of 35 kg without toppling over. Our products are not only designed to meet that limit, but to ensure you feel secure for a long time to come. Traditional methods rely on friction in soil layers that are constantly changing. Ground frost, moisture and settling make the method short-term, especially in a country with such major seasonal variations. Why do gravestones topple over?
Around 3,500 to 4,000 per remounting using a standard method. With a traditional installation, this may also need to be done every 4–5 years. We can promise that with our foundations, this will never be necessary.
