Norrvidinge has the market's only foundation with L-walls
Our patented L-support system acts as a natural counterweight beneath the ground surface. Instead of simply sticking in a few spikes or casting directly into the soil, Fundament Frid creates a stable base that uses the earth's own weight to keep the stone upright and secure.
Fundament Frid™
Modular concrete-free foundation made from 100% recycled material. Installed directly in the ground. Frost-resistant and designed for Nordic conditions.
Prefabricated beam system that replaces cast-in-place concrete. Provides pin-straight rows with minimal finishing work. Stable with a reduced carbon footprint.
Pipe system for more efficient land use in the cemetery. Less excavation and restoration during burials. A system designed for the purpose and not a drainage pipe.

We’re here
Why does a gravestone lean or topple over?
Many people believe a gravestone is secure just because it has a dowel in the ground or a foundation that was not developed with modern safety requirements in mind.
The reality in our cemeteries shows otherwise. The traditional method relies entirely on friction in soil layers that are constantly altered by frost heave, moisture, settlement and other movement.
When the ground becomes soft or shifts due to frost, these solutions have nothing to resist it – and the stone begins to tilt.
Circular innovation from Småland
– We believe in a sustainable cycle. That is why our products are manufactured locally in Småland from 100% recycled material. By keeping the entire process – from concept and development to production – close to home, we reduce transport distances. We also ensure that every investment contributes to local jobs, something we value highly.
An investment that lasts
For a cemetery administration or grave-site owner, the greatest cost is rarely the initial installation; it is the maintenance. Having to condemn or receive a condemned headstone, secure it temporarily, and then reinstall the same headstone multiple times over a 25-year period is incredibly inefficient.
Norrvidinge's Fundament Frid offers long-term lifetime value. Our products are designed to remain in place and keep the headstone approved at every five-year inspection, all the way until the burial rights expire. We help you move from reactive maintenance to proactive management. You can simply focus on something else.
Secure the graveyard with Småland innovation and a 25-year guarantee.
