We straighten and restore stone frames
Many older burial sites are adorned with beautiful stone kerbs that over time have begun to lean or slip apart. This is often due to ground subsidence, tree roots, or the fact that the original foundation work was not designed to withstand decades of frost heave. To make maintenance easier, we carry out precision adjustments to the kerbs and reinforce the underlying load-bearing layer to prevent future subsidence.
Just lifting and putting back a stone kerb is something we see as a short-term solution. Here at Norrvidinge, we use methods that address the root cause. By combining our stable foundations with a correctly installed sub-base, we ensure that the kerb stays straight and remains in place.
