Frid™ Foundation - Beam

Economically advantageous

MThe manual labour involved in grave digging and the ongoing pressure testing checks are being phased out. Our beam creates a cohesive infrastructure underground.

The beam system has been developed in close cooperation with the Gothenburg burial parish. As one of the country's largest operators, they needed a solution that replaced heavy, time-consuming site-cast concrete beams with something lighter, faster and more sustainable. The result? A prefabricated beam that revolutionised their daily work. Now they can focus on other things, as they no longer need to deal with proof testing, temporary props and reassembly of stones.

Furthermore, there will be no long periods of a grave without a headstone for relatives to visit. Because the beam enables the stone to be easily removed and replaced without demanding reinstallation, the addition of names to the stone can be done in a shorter time.

Straight lines:
Create the timeless feeling of a military cemetery where nothing leans. Pin-straight lines of headstones that maintain the aesthetics of your burial site through time.
Economically advantageous (minimal excavation work):
Create the timeless feeling of a military cemetery where nothing leans. Pin-straight lines of headstones that maintain the aesthetics of your burial site through time.
Reduced carbon footprint:
By replacing cast-in-place concrete with our modules, we reduce the carbon footprint and also the logistics in the graveyard. A lighter product that is easy to install yet at least as durable over time.
Case

Bergudda Cemetery

When Bergunda was faced with over 200 condemned headstones, a method that was fast yet permanent was required. We implemented Fundament Frid™ and eliminated the need for recurrent maintenance for the foreseeable future. Our method works in black and white.
